Episode 17 – Integrity of Self, Creating Safe Space + Healing in the Collective with Deanna Green

In this episode of Majestic Wisdom Podcast Heather co-creates with Deanna Green, yoga teacher and owner of Shambhala Yoga and Dance Center in Brooklyn, NY! Deanna shares how her journey with yoga started and how it has become an integral part of her work not only in owning a studio, but in her personal healing, and healing within the collective.

Through yoga, Deanna has discovered tools that helped her uncover her authentic Self, and she creates a safe space for others so we can all be “unapologetically ourselves.” Here, she talks about her growth through yoga, including many different kinds of challenges, how she meets them, and the flexibility that comes through self-inquiry. We talk about ways in which what she has learned “on the mat” translates into her life and the importance of sharing these teachings with others.
