Dreaming with Mugwort Launch

How are you feeling? What has your experience been the last few weeks (internal and external)?

Take a moment to sit, soften or close your eyes and notice the sensations moving in your body. What arises on the screen of your heart?

Many people have reached out to share their process in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is an honour to hear you. To hold space even at a distance and to be held.

I haven’t rushed in to offering any yoga classes online, though I do miss teaching. Something told me to pull back. To release and let others do this work at the moment. Right now, for whatever reason, my response has been to let go – and I’ve made different choices than I would have at any other point in my life. I reflected a bit on this and offer some insight in a new blog post over at Journey Through Yoga called Accepting Retreat and also in a newly-published poem, grasp-less with Understorey Magazine.

It feels strange to launch a new book at this moment in time. Promoting doesn’t feel right at all as the inherent nature of promotion is to try to extract.

The date for Dreaming with Mugwort was selected before our current pandemic. Mugwort was pushing me hard to write about her now even as I worked on the Dandelion book. I have learned enough from spirit – from teaching yoga classes, offering reiki, and other healing work to just listen (and get out of the way).

For some reason this short book offering wants to emerge right now. With my limited view, I would guess it is because Mugwort is very strongly connected to the dream. To enhancing psychic abilities and vision. My guess is she might want to step forward right now to help us imagine, dream, and connect both to our own personal vision and to one for our communities and the world. To connect with the plant world and listen to a larger dream of co-creation.

And, who am I to know?

What I can say is that Mugwort is a great teacher and she will help you move through any stagnant energy, and discover more of your magical gifts.

I hope you will read Dreaming with Mugwort to learn more about plant spirits, what they are, how to connect with them, and specifically what Mugwort has to offer.

There is also a journey in the book to help you connect with her in the dream.

Stay safe and keep dreaming.
